A reminder to pet owner. The Commonwealth of Virginia requires all dogs and cats four months of age or older be vaccinated for rabies by a licensed veterinarian or licensed veterinary technician. For the protection of our veterinary health team and in accordance with Virginia state law, we require a current rabies vaccination (or be official documentation thereof) for patients. If no official documentation is/can be provided, a rabies vaccination be administered to comply with this regulation.
